The Road Ahead...
Well guys! It's about time we did a post about our Trials! I am very proud of the progression we have made so far. As the picture above shows we now have 3/4 veteran trials under our belt! I would very much like to continue this trend and...get down Veteran Maw of Lorkhaj! This will be a serious undertaking and it is going to require our best players and hours of effort to get down I'm sure. In the past we have had the benefit of my prior knowledge and experience in AA, HR, and SO to get us through. We ALL will be entering into an uncharted area that will test the limits of our reaction times and cohesion as a group! Coming up very soon I will be forming a progression group to tackle this Trial!
This brings us to our groups. With the guild slowly growing I have noticed many people being left on the sidelines. We are currently in an awkward stage where we don't have enough people to do two trial groups and we have too many to do just one. I want to fix this. I don't want people loosing interest in running trials with us because they never get to come. There are several ways we fix this: First, we recruit more people to fill our slots, and we recruit GOOD people! Meaning people that either know the content or can improve and follow instruction with minimal handling. Two, we focus on training up more of our casual players to be able to handle vet content and GET. THEM. INTERESTED! And finally, we adjust our trials schedule to encompass MORE vet trial days, or ADD earlier vet trial runs that will run without my leadership and instead be lead by one of our fine officers ;).
Daylight savings time is also going to make this a little more difficult for us. I have noticed a drop off in attendance during our veteran trial nights because of DST. And as such I would like to get your feedback on WHEN you are available. I do not want to have to start doing "sign ups" for veteran trials because that can just get tedious. However, I need data to figure out when we will be able to get the most people online ready to go. So, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS POST BELOW and let me know when you are available in relation to PST. Sorry I know that's a pain for a lot of you, just look up "PST NOW" on google and it will show your time and PST time. Figure out what times you are available and post it in here. If you have NO PROBLEM meeting the current time, then I would like you to let me know that as well! Just tell me no problem with the current schedule.
For our new players! In an effort to make things fair for all and allow everyone a chance to come and join us, I will be running a spreadsheet that keeps tabs on who is available and ready to go every veteran run. If we cannot fit you into our run you will be put on the priority list and you will 100% receive an invite on the next run. Now, whether or not that means you will be invited on the same night for a second vet trial or invited on the next night we have a scheduled vet trial is up in the air. So, for our new players as well I would like you to respond below and let me know your availability on a PST time frame so we can figure out what works best for all! (Remember all the rules for attending a vet trial still apply. Requirements are downloading FTC having your DPS tested by an officer or your gear checked if you are a tank or healer, and registering on our guild website)
In closing, it's about time I let you all know what my goals are for the guild and where I see us going.
1. I would definitely like to see this guild have all 4 Trials finished on Veteran pre-Morrowind release.
2. I would like to see us get on the leader boards, we don't have to be on the very top but at least to be on the board would be fantastic, and if not on the board...very close to leader board scores Haha! (I don't want this to be misconstrued into we are becoming a hardcore raiding guild. We are not. It's simply wanting to do well and earn the respect of other excellent players in the game)
3. I would eventually like to have two full and complete groups running vet trials. For a long time it's been our core group of people in there. So we need more invites and we need more of our current players active in our raids.
4. I will be focusing more on training our newer players to get ready for veteran trials. This means giving advice on what sort of gear they will need at a minimum, and taking them through normal trials but working out all the mechanics required for vet in normal.
So again, PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR AVAILABILITY BELOW! If you have any other suggestions for trials or ANYTHING else we can improve on please let us know here! If there is something we are missing that is keeping you from being more active with us let us know! As I have said to each and every one of you upon inviting you, we don't like inactive people, people who sit around and do nothing contribute nothing. Hours and hours of time have gone into Solemn and Grimora to give you guys a real guild. A guild you can be proud to be a part of, and give you a chance to do all the content that this great game has to offer. I understand we have casual players here and you will ALWAYS be welcome. But, I still expect you to be a part of our guild. If you aren't raiding you can rely on us for doing pledges, world bosses, advice for farming so you can make more money, a good trader for you to sell those items, help with your builds, auctions and raffles. We give back a lot more than most guilds our size do. And all I expect is for you to participate every now and again. By not responding to this thread you are showing me that you are really not interested in us and don't care whether or not you remain in our guild.

Hiya All. My schedule is pretty flexible atm though imo trials are started at a pretty late hour. As a new player to the game, I have been enjoying the pve content (story arcs). Perhaps less focus on that and more focus on running WGT and CoA for Spell Power Cure and Sanctuary sets. I do prefer healing but am self taught. That said, I need to seek advice from guildies to maximize my healing. Mechanics of fights will come with practice and perseverance.

East coaster here. I've always been flexible but ideally 6-7pm PST (9-10pm EDT) would be perfect for vet trials on weekdays. During the weekend, I dont mind. On normal mode, we can easily down 3 raids within 3 hours or so... the actual schedule seems fine. On a side note tho, we exceptionally did 3 nMoL runs back to back this week and I could see that many people did all the runs cuz they are farming sets. I think it could be a good idea to continue doing this kind of runs regularly... especially MoL and SO - TFS/Alkosh/Moondancer sets to name a few - . I believe this could help guildies new to trials to get great experience AND the stuff they need to improve their raid build. Just a thought...
I'm available most nights of the week unless some grave duty imposes itself on me. As for Vet MoL, it is probably a suitably difficult challenge from what i've heard but there are walkthroughs for it. I'm not sure what Morrowind will have in store for us, but its not as if we're running out of game content as it is. To expand the guild we'll have to help the noobs to focus characters into group roles (Damage, Healing, Tank) and that will take patience and time. I wouldn't set deadlines for that sort of thing.
Hi, thanks for providing us with this channel to provide you with information about where we are at and giving us the opportunity to do so.
I have recently started working 30 hours a week and studying 30 hours a week so i am kind of out of the picture for progressing until at least August when i finish study.
i would love to stay in the guild and just chill, make some gold for houses and play when i can until i get some time back.
Thanks Harlan

I havent ran with you guys yet been working on gear, i dont like to be that guy that gets in the group just to go or to take up a slot, if im not on top of my game 100% i wont waste your time. the times are a tad late but i can do it. currently i sit at like 570ish CP.
I have a almost raid ready main tank (mag DK) with ebon and footman.
My main dps is (mag temp) i can pull around 20k on average plus or minus a few k depending on the fight.
I should be good to go after a few more weeks.
